The Bear Trace Golf Course is an 18 hole, par 72 championship course located near Cumberland Mountain State Park and is one of the most sought-after sites amongst the 4 Jack Nicklaus designed Bear Trace courses in Tennessee.

Located just south of Crossville and Fairfield Glade in the undisputed golfing capitol of Tennessee, the links-style course takes advantage of elevation changes as well as natural pines and flowering streams.

Well known for its signature 7th hole, the par 4 features a
blind tee shot and protected green surrounded by sand
traps and layered flagstone.

Opened in 1998, designed by Jack Nicklaus with Bentgrass greens, Bluegrass fairways and Bluegrass, Rye and Fescue roughs.

The front nine provides the most challenge, including the #4 hole, which features a double dogleg fairway. This hole is considered by some as the toughest Par 5 in Tennessee. The undulating fairways and encroaching bunkers guarantee a challenging and scenic round.

The course is rated 4 stars by the 2000 edition of Golf Digest's Places to Play.
